Following a spectacular dinner in the Medici dining room, residents and guests of Edgemere senior living community enjoyed a “Double Virtuosity” concert by two of the most accomplished musicians in Dallas, pianists Bradley Hunter Welch and Chris Brunt.
“The concert put on by these two gentlemen was first class in every way,” said Tori Mallad, director of sales and marketing at Edgemere. “It makes us proud to put on events of this caliber at Edgemere. Our residents and guests enjoyed a truly memorable evening listening to fabulous music.”
A concert soloist, accompanist and music educator, Welch has played the organ with such esteemed organizations as the Dallas, Fort Worth and Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestras. He was the winner of the Dallas International Organ Competition in 2003 and performs nationwide.
Brunt, who has worked with many groups across the country, moves with ease between classical, ragtime, progressive, Christian and other musical genres. In addition to teaching, he has accompanied choral groups for more than 30 years in the U.S. and Europe.
