Pedal Chic, a women-specific cycling and athletic boutique in Greenville, South Carolina, is pleased to announce that top-tier triathlete Steve Hackett will be at Pedal Chic on Friday evening, October 7th to meet fans from 5-7 pm.
Hackett will be participating in the Revolution 3 Half Rev Olympic Triathlon on Sunday, October 9th, in Anderson, South Carolina, and will be challenged with a 1.2 mile swim in Lake Hartwell, a 56 mile bike ride through the rolling hills of Anderson County, and a 13.1 road race finishing up in downtown Anderson. Over 1,500 triathletes are expected to be in the Upstate for this inaugural event.
Jamis Bicycles will be introducing their Jamis brand 2012 models throughout the weekend at Pedal Chic. On Saturday, cycling enthusiasts and newcomers to the sport, are invited to Pedal Chic to ride the new models of Jamis Bicycles from 10 am - 6 pm. RavX, a bicycle accessories and components vendor for Pedal Chic, will be on site manning the grill, and Sutter Home Wines will be providing complimentary wine samples from 4 pm - 6 pm. Jamis will also return to Pedal Chic for more free demo rides from 1 pm - 6 pm on Sunday afternoon.
