Cassie’s self published book, The Hole In My Heart, addresses her personal struggle to arrive at self triumph. As destiny would have it, her story began to create a buzz upon its release throughout America and particularly with Hollywood reps and as a result Cassie was introduced to Industry Executive, Robert (Leo) Rodgers, by Rodgers' sister, Crystal Porter during a trip to Memphis, Tennessee, where he and his two partners Pam and Karen Browne of Browne Entertainment decided to sign her to a long term management contract.

"Cassie's son was snatched from her arms when he was 7 months old. It took her over 38 years for them to be reunited. He found her after getting his investigative license and started the search,",says Crystal Porter, Rodgers' sister.
America embraced Cassie with her recent emotional appearance on the Maury Povich Show where she was reunited with her long lost son whom she had been separated for years due to her ex husband taking him away from her to fulfill his thirst for power over her which ultimately failed. For Cassie's resolve was to somehow find her son again and begin her life anew.
With TV viewers riveted by her poignant story and touching on air reunion as well as the subsequent popular demand to hear more from her, the Maury Povich Show is planning a second followup appearance with Cassie which is soon to be announced.
