Alpacifica, LLC, producer of Alpacks® alpaca dog sweaters, has continued its socially conscious commitment and recently participated in significant charitable efforts in the United States and Peru. In addition to donating sweaters to Seattle-based Ginger’s Pet Rescue (gingerspetrescue.org), Alpacks® made a “Friends” level donation to the Seattle Weekly PAWS Walk at Magnuson Park in Seattle (pawswalk.net). The company has also pledged a large sweater donation to the Arequipa Dog Shelter, a charitable organization for canines in southern Peru.

Handmade in Peru, Alpacks® dog sweaters are currently sold at the All the Best stores in the Seattle and in other high-end stores across the country. They are made from alpaca and baby alpaca fiber, which is renowned for its softness, durability, and water-wicking ability.
The dog sweaters will be for sale at the Seattle Weekly sponsored PAWS Walk this coming Saturday at Magnuson Park. The walk starts at 10:00 am. and will support organization, whose mission is to rehabilitate “injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people”.
