EnVogue Lashes has announced that they are closing their eyelash extension business.

Due to unspecified health reasons the Founder and CEO, M. Janine Brennan has decided to close her successful online eyelash extension company. In business since 2006, EnVogue Lashes LLC (envoguelashes.com) quickly grew to be one of the most reliable and conscientious of the many eyelash extension businesses that have popped up across the Internet since the beginning of the eyelash extension craze that began sometime around 2004.

When asked for a comment about the closing, Ms Brennan had this to say: “It is with great regret that I have to announce that I will be closing EnVogue through a liquidation process that has already begun. Due to the bad economic conditions in the USA, and actually throughout the world, it has been impossible to find a suitable buyer at this time even though we had a 143% increase in sales in 2010. We have many, many loyal customers that I hate to disappoint but I have thought about this for the past year and have decided I have to do what is best for my health. I have received many questions from my customers regarding where they can next buy their lash extension products. I believe that most products will be able to be purchased through other lash extension companies. Unfortunately our medical grade adhesive, which is our most popular item, is not available through anyone else. It is made strictly for us.”

Ms Brennan went on to say that at least she hopes to give her customers a great price break on EnVogue’s high quality lash extension products through the liquidation sale. She also stated that she will be stocking fresh adhesive right up to the closing date. She is aiming for a closing date of the end of this year (2011) but an email will go out to all customers in EnVogue’s data base with a final date once it is known in order to allow those who wish to stock up on their exclusive adhesive a chance before the final closure of the online store.
