Penguin once again dominated the awards, with three wins out of the five categories available, and no less than twelve books on the awards shortlist. The winning titles were:

• Jimmy, The Terrorist by Omair Ahmad - the joint winner for the Best Fiction Book award
• Faces in the Water by Ranjit Lal - the Best Children’s Book award
• Litanies of Dutch Battery by N.S. Madhavan, translated by Rajesh Rajamohan - the Best Translation award
