Dr. Hilarie Jerauld and Dr. Emily Dorsett are pleased to announce the opening of All 4 Paws Animal Hospital in Apex, NC. This veterinary practice provides medical and surgical care for small animals. Services include wellness examinations, vaccinations, comprehensive dental care, geriatric health services, soft-tissue surgeries, nutritional consultations and exotic animal care.
"We are so excited to be able to offer high quality, affordable pet health services in Apex," says Dr. Hilarie Jerauld. "In our practice, we focus on delivering a stress-free experience for both the pet and the person!" Dr. Jerauld emphasizes that individualized care and a focus on client service is what separates All 4 Paws Animal Hospital from other small animal practices.
"We have a comprehensive, on-site diagnostic laboratory, which means we can run many tests in-house," says Dr. Emily Dorsett. "This allows us to pass on significant savings to our clients and allows us to provide the best possible care more quickly."
All 4 Paws Animal Hospital offers digital radiographs, ultrasonography, laboratory diagnostics, EKG monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximetry, capnography and ocular tonometry, all on-site. These services allow All 4 Paws Animal Hospital staff to monitor and diagnose a variety of diseases, illnesses and injuries, often eliminating the need for diagnostic referral to other animal specialists.
Patient comfort is one of the cornerstones of All 4 Paws Animal Hospital’s practice philosophies. "Reducing a sick or injured animal's stress level is a key component in reducing its pain " says Dr. Jerauld. "By itself, reducing stress in a hospitalized animal speeds the healing process and gets the pets home sooner." To help reduce stress, All 4 Paws Veterinary Hospital offers three private examination rooms as well as a well-equipped treatment room with soundproofing within the walls.
The hospital also has separate cat and dog housing/recovery areas to reduce the anxiety produced by the sounds and smells of these different species. Clean water, food, litter boxes and soft fleece bedding are always provided to ensure patient comfort, along with pet pheromone therapy and soothing music designed to decrease stress in animals.
All 4 Paws also provides veterinary care for exotic and unusual pets, including guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets and birds. "Very small pets also deserve the best of care," says Dr. Dorsett. "We offer the same level of care and the benefit of our veterinary experience to all of our patients, no matter how small!"
