In the upcoming months CCA will launch online application and study systems and communications improvements - CCA-ACC.com.

Gold Seal is a construction management certification program. CCA administers the program in partnership with its member local construction associations.

CCA’s Gold Seal Committee is committed to ensuring that Gold Seal is the Canadian designation of choice for construction management. “Our goal is to increase the overall awareness of Gold Seal certification in partnership with the local construction associations, attract new applicants and to better engage certificate holders,” said Barry Brown, Chair of the CCA Gold Seal Committee.

“We want to make finding information on the Gold Seal program as easy as possible,” said Brown. To that effect, the committee is overhauling the program’s branding and messaging as well as revamping its website and collateral. “We also want to better equip our local construction associations to market and administer the program,” added Brown.

“An online application system will reduce administration and turnaround time,” said Stephanie Wallace who manages the Gold Seal program. “Applicants will appreciate our ability to process their applications faster and the additional benefit of increased transparency that will allow applicants to track their application status.”

For Gold Seal certification candidates (goldsealcertification.com) who are required to write an exam, an online study and preparatory system will be a welcome addition. “When preparing to write the exam, sometimes the problem is that people ‘wear many hats’ so they don’t know what to expect,” explained Wallace. The new online study and preparatory system will replace material that is currently sent by mail, further cutting turnaround time. The study system will allow candidates to choose the date and location of their exam, review material, take quizzes and a sample test.
