Teaming up with OnTheEdge Entertainment and Swing-Out Atlanta, Ms. Weir is performing between the swing dance lessons (free from Swing-Out Atlanta) and the special guest DJ.
“I’m so excited to work with such a great group of people and exuberant audience at such a unique and fun location,” says Ingrid Weir about her debut.
The event offers free swing-dance lessons, the comedy stylings of Atlanta’s own, by way of East Cobb, Ingrid Weir, two stages and full bars, a full chef-inspired menu, and music with special guest, the legendary swing dj, DJ Jim Wheatley as well as a surprise guest DJ spinning at the end of the night.

About Ingrid Weir
Atlanta local, Ingrid Weir (ingridweir.com) grew up in Marietta, Georgia, and attended Sprayberry High School. She has since opened the Hope and Love Wilson Brown Foundation, which is a nonprofit foundation focused on helping cancer patients, their families, and other undergoing financial hardships due to illnesses perform home repairs. About DJ Jim Wheatley
Jim Wheatley has been actively spinning and dancing in the Atlanta area for more than 10 years. He regularly spins at several venues and dances sponsored by the Georgia Tech Dance Association, the Atlanta Swing Era Dance Association (ASEDA) and the Atlanta Jazz Dance Preservation Society (AJDPS). He has also DJ’ed at such national dance events as Lindy Focus, Beantown, Enter the Blues and Swing & Soul, and at Lindy exchanges in Austin, Charleston, Chicago, Dallas, Knoxville, Orlando, San Diego, St. Louis and South Florida. In addition, DJ Wheatley has provided dance tunes at every Atlanta Varsity Showdown since 2002 and was a Co-Founder of the Atlanta Lindy Exchange in 2004. Jim enjoys spinning and blending a variety of musical styles, including classic jazz, swing, blues and soul, according to the needs of the dance floor.
