Nexsan®, a leading independent provider of disk-based storage systems, today announced that its Nexsan E60™ and E18™ E-Series storage systems have been certified by Symantec for compatibility with Symantec Backup Exec 2010, 2010 R2 and 2010 R3. The compatibility validation qualifies Nexsan E60 and E18 storage systems for use in Backup Exec environments including those that perform deduplication (via the Deduplication Option) and Granular Restore Technology (GRT).
