Leaving behind what some would consider a secure future and a promising career, to start a firm that provides services to disadvantaged organizations and individuals.
Michelle Bush often found that the access to valuable resources for self-sufficiency was limited, and there were many challenging aspects of the process that were not “common sense.” Upon realizing the need to increase accessibility, Michelle decided to start Live It, Inc., a management consulting firm based in McLean, VA, whose mission is "to help organizations and individuals reach their full potential, by providing practical solutions that work." A place where she, her team of volunteers, and a vast network of industry professionals work tirelessly assisting clients to address various special needs.
Michelle has more than 14 years of progressive professional experience. On the job, she sought and created innovative ways to improve company processes, which most often led to increased productivity and greatly improved company revenue--often without being asked to do so. "I just wanted to transfer knowledge and help to navigate resources that made favorable impact on the [business] communities I served," says this modest leader.
A partial list of organizations she has served professionally includes: The National Coalition for the Homeless, National Civic League, Jesuit Secondary Education Association, Council for Excellence in Government, Make A Wish Foundation, and The Tennessee Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
As Founder and President of the organization, she embodies its mission. A day in the life of Michelle Bush is spent coaching organizations and individuals, and helping to appropriate resources, which foster creativity, encourage personal growth, and develop economic stability. "We exists not only to empower these organizations and individuals to pursue personal success, we also mobilize and position them for change, through the use of our programs & services," says its Founder.
