BookChums, a community for book lovers, recently interviewed authors Adithi Rao and Chatura Rao. “Listen to your kids”, Chatura advises all parents through the Bookchums interview. This July the author-sisters launched a children’s book “Growing Up In Pandupur” which a collection of 13 short stories.
Speaking to BookChums, the authors said “From sibling love-rivalry, to the loss of a family member, to child sexual abuse, to growing up –most of the stories, in the book, cater to topics any child can relate to. For that matter, any parent can relate to.” Sharing memories of their growing up days,"The story ’About Grandfathers and Trees’, pretty much tells of my most poignant childhood memory”, confessed Adithi.
BookChums also attended the book launch in Mumbai last month, and interacted with the authors as well as the celebrity guest of the event, Kalki Koechlin. The event comprised of a book reading session along with activities for kids.
