Mazuma Mobile, the UK’s most popular online mobile phone recycler, launches a new TV advertising campaign this week. The 30 second advertisement features Mazuma’s brand mascot, Maz, in a fully animated campaign produced by Hertfordshire based production company, Fall of the Wall.
“We are the first UK mobile phone recycler to pay out over £100million to UK customers. So the new ad campaign is designed to reinforce our strength as a trusted and credible mobile phone recycler as well as the simplicity and speed of our service. We have listened to feedback from our customers and fan base and decided to focus on Maz for the new campaign. His overwhelming popularity continues to demonstrate his strength as our brand mascot,” said Charlo Carabott Managing Director, Mazuma Mobile.
Fall of the Wall were appointed to conceptualise and produce the new DRTV broadcast advert on behalf of Mazuma Mobile. The creative studio pulled upon years of experience producing broadcast advertisements, using a mixture of techniques Cinema4D and After Effects to bring Maz to life in his own world - software not usually used for character animation.
“This has been a fantastic campaign for us to work on. We had the opportunity to be really creative and using Maz as the focal point of the brand gave us complete license to produce a full CG animated advert. The flexible platform gave us a chance to express Mazuma’s core brand messages of simplicity of service and credibility, whilst maintaining an element of fun. I think we have succeeded,” said Justin Douglas, Managing Director, Fall off the Wall.
Facebook fans of Mazuma Mobile received their own sneak preview launch of the new advertisement.
