Taking place on 30th July at Castle Combe Circuit, the UK’s only circuit-based Vauxhall show will bring a taste of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) to the South West.
Uniting car enthusiasts from across the country, some of the biggest names in BTCC history will be attending the show, and TV Live will showcase the finest racing champions, iconic racing cars and displays from the best Vauxhall clubs.
With an impressive record of twenty times British Touring Car Champions, the Triple Eight Race engineering team will be one of the highlights of the show. Attendees will have the chance to meet the drivers James Nash and Tony Gilham before they take to the Castle Combe Circuit in their current championship cars.
Other British Touring Car Championship legends, John Cleland and Jeff Allam, will also be at the Castle Combe circuit for TV Live, driving their ex BTCC Vauxhall Cavailer GSI in demo sessions, and also meeting with the crowd and signing autographs throughout the day.
Richard Schofield, Group Publishing Director for Future’s Automotive portfolio, says: “We’re excited about this year’s Total Vauxhall Live event as we have some great special guests lined up. The people who come along to our auto shows are always so passionate about cars, and at TV Live they get the chance to really get involved with the action. This event is a growing part of our automotive business and it just keeps getting bigger every year.”
Attendees of Total Vauxhall Live on 30th July can expect a jam-packed day of demos from some of the most powerful Vauxhall cars around, with the opportunity to take your own Vauxhall out on the track. There’ll be lots of well known race, rally and track cars on display and free children’s entertainment. With so many special guests and an extensive retail village, this event is one not to miss!
