Brand new board game company, Chaotic Connections, LLC is counting down the days till their game, Chaotic Connections, is available to the general public. Ralph Dixson, president of the firm and creator of the game, anticipates the first delivery of the game at their Upstate distribution center the first of August.
One of the most exciting new games to hit the board game market this year, Chaotic Connections is a game of strategy and chance. The board itself is the geographical map of the USA featuring the country's major cities, highways and byways. The object of the game is to be the first player to construct a road that connects all of their cities. Chaotic Connections is fun for children and adults. It takes only a few minutes to learn and about 30-45 minutes to play. Each new game brings different challenges, twists and turns as opponents slow your progress with "detours","closed roads", and other obstacles delivered by "chance" cards. Educational benefits include strategic thinking, decision making and the opportunity to learn the major cities of the United States, and how they are connected. It is such a unique game that it is trademarked and patented.
Dixson and his business partner, Glynetta McAninch, both residents of Greenville County, South Carolina, have been putting the final touches on Chaotic Connections for the past several months. They will be attending Gen Con Indy 2011 which is "the original, longest running, best attended gaming convention in the world", held in Indianapolis, Indiana from August 4th through August 7th. Chaotic Connections will be in Booth #125, and will also host a demonstration table in the Family Fun Pavilion, where attendees willl have an opportunity to play the game. Greenville based illustrator and writer Zach Franzen, who was hired by the firm to design the original graphics for the board game, says "the game is crazy fun".
Chaotic Connections (chaoticconnections.com) is pleased to announce that Greenville Marketing Lab of Simpsonville, SC has been retained by the firm to handle their maketing, Internet marketing and public relations for the game and the the company. Chaotic Connections will be available for sale through selected retailers and through their website.
