AccuRev Inc. has augmented its services portfolio with the addition of the AccuRev Certified Engineer (ACE) training program and on-demand, self-paced, Web tutorials for AccuRev®, its best-of-breed software configuration management (SCM) solution.
The comprehensive ACE certification program, which covers all aspects of using, managing, and supporting AccuRev software, takes AccuRev training to an enterprise-class level. Targeted at administrators and release engineers managing increasingly complex development scenarios and growing geographically distributed teams, ACE training offers administrators an opportunity to advance their knowledge of the power of AccuRev and improve their ability to conduct their own basic internal end-user training to garner a rapid return on investment. These one to two-day courses also prepare the AccuRev administrator and release engineer to effectively manage and deploy medium to large enterprise-scale installations of AccuRev software. Advanced security, parallel development, release and issue-based engineering management are also detailed utilizing AccuRev best-practices.
In addition to ACE training, AccuRev has developed efficient and effective on-demand Web tutorials that allow new users to be trained at their own pace and free up administrators to focus valuable time on their project deliverables and less time answering questions. Web tutorials are also valuable to administrators to forward when there is not enough time to send new users to training, when team members aren’t co-located, or when a new user must be proficient in a specific area of use.

The AccuRev Certified Engineer (ACE) training course is available to existing customers on maintenance. Duration is typically one to two days onsite, and is concluded with a certification exam.
