Perceptive Software, creator of enterprise content management (ECM) products including ImageNow®, announced today that the Kansas City Business Magazine has recognized the company for its global growth, and has been named one of the magazine’s Top Ten companies of 2011. The award was presented at the Madrid Theater on Tuesday evening, June 28 at the magazine’s annual Top Companies reception.
“The caliber of our people plays the biggest part in our success,” said Scott Coons, President and CEO, Perceptive Software. “The creativity and work ethic that resides within this company is what drives our innovative technology and solutions and keeps our customers happy.”
Over the past several years, Perceptive Software’s growth has outpaced the global ECM market, sometimes growing at three times the industry average. The company employs nearly 600 people at its Shawnee headquarters, and despite the current economic climate, is currently hiring across all departments. Since June 2010, Perceptive Software has grown its employee base by approximately 40 percent in North America alone.
Winners were selected based on answers submitted via questionnaire and reviewed by a panel of independent judges. Topics covered in the questionnaire included company culture, community involvement, plans for growth and commitment to employees. Representatives from Perceptive Software will attend the magazine’s Top Companies Dinner on July 26 where a single Top Company of the year will be named.
