Destin, FL, United States, 2005/07/11 - Please join us on July 12th when we will be discussing the potential long term impacts on the large enterprise of the recently announced telecom acquisitions (AT&T by SBC, MCI by Verizon/Qwest and Nextel by Sprint) - Telwares.com.

Agenda:
During the web conference you will gain professional insight on the risk and opportunities associated with today’s telecom industry, and how to leverage the industry mergers to your advantage. Attendees will receive an Exclusive Telecom Industry Update on the wireline market. Key take-aways will include: understanding how to leverage the consolidations to your benefit through pricing and contract terms and conditions, insight on strategic multi-carrier sourcing solutions, and ensuring you position your contracts now, regardless of the term expiration of your existing telecom agreements.
Despite a decade of falling prices and uncertainty in the telecom industry, there remains a window of opportunity for enterprises to significantly reduce their telecommunications costs and restructure their telecom contracts to provide the necessary flexibility and protections to weather the adverse impacts that will occur as the proposed telecom acquisitions are consummated. Last year alone, leading edge prices for telecom services fell by more than 25%, yet few enterprises have leveraged this opportunity and mistakenly believe their existing wireline and wireless contracts are market-leading. These trends, combined with concerns over supplier stability, SLAs and future pricing increases, along with the impact of new technologies like MPLS and VoIP, truly require enterprises to augment their knowledge and resources to define and navigate the more complex sourcing environment.
Attending the web conference will provide you with the knowledge required to assess your current telecom environment and arm you with key information required to leverage opportunities and mitigate market risks.
