CompView, a leading audio video consulting, design and installation firm received a 2011 Pro AV Spotlight Award at the Infocomm tradeshow. This award recognizes the best professional audio visual installations which demonstrate technical innovation and design excellence as well as effective collaboration between integrators, designers, architects and end-users. CompView received the Best Hospitality AV Project award for Big Al’s Bowling, Arcade and Sports Bar.
The fourth annual PRO AV Spotlight Award entries were judged by a panel of editors and contributors to PRO AV Magazine, Architect and Architectural Lighting magazines, plus AV systems integrators and consultants. “This was perhaps the strongest field of entries we’ve ever had,” says Brad Grimes, editor of PRO AV and PRO AV Online.
“We are proud to receive the Pro AV Spotlight Award for such a dynamic and rewarding project,” said Scott Birdsall, CompView President. “This award recognizes CompView’s expertise integrating AV systems for complex, large venue entertainment facilities.”
Big Al’s family entertainment facility in Tigard, OR is 60,000 sq. foot. CompView designed and integrated audio video systems throughout the facility including; 100 high-definition displays, a massive 12-foot-high, 55-foot-wide sports bar screen, and AV in 30 public bowling lanes, 12 private lounge-style bowling lanes, 3 private party rooms, a skybox private party room, a lounge, a billiards area and a 7,000-square-foot arcade.
