QuintEvents is introducing a new, publicly- available offering of tickets, accommodations and special access packages for the famed, annual ESSENCE Music Festival in New Orleans, providing fans with an experience previously reserved only for officials, sponsors and media partners.
The ESSENCE Music Festival has partnered with industry-leading hospitality company QuintEvents to design, market and fulfill the packages for the July 1-3 celebration at the Louisiana Superdome. Charlotte (NC)-based QuintEvents provides similar services for The Super Bowl and other NFL properties, The Kentucky Derby and the NBA All-Star Game.
The program, named ESSENCE VIP Events, uniquely provides backstage passes, invitations to parties with celebrity attendees, on-site hospitality and premier ticket locations available only from ESSENCE, which owns and operates the world-renowned festival. The customized packages are available at multiple price levels and all elements are guaranteed by ESSENCE, providing fans with the transactional security and a hassle-free experience.
The blockbuster lineup for the three days of music includes Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Kanye West, Mary J Blige, Boyz II Men and a host of other artists. Packages also include access to the 2011 ESSENCE Empowerment Experience, taking place concurrently at New Orleans’ Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Billed as a “Weekend of Transformation,” the ESSENCE Empowerment Experience features speakers such as Rev. Al Sharpton, Tavis Smiley, Steve Harvey, Soledad O’Brien plus Gospel music, TV show auditions and authors as part of a multi-cultural complement to the festival.
