Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), producer of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software for integrated analysis of space, defense and intelligence assets, has been awarded its 17th patent for work by Paul Graziani, Edward Mackey and David Massa. Entitled “Method for Visualizing Data Clouds Using Color and Opacity Blending,” the patent (U.S. patent 7,928, 980) covers a method used in AGI software to analyze and visualize large data sets.
Additional AGI patented technologies include methods for orbit determination; transmitter and receiver bandwidth modeling; determination of spacecraft drag; spacecraft sensor obscuration; and three-dimensional orbit maneuver analysis.
