Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Allpro Parking, Craig Barber, has been elected President of The New York State Parking Association (NYSPA).

Barber will direct the NYSPA Board of Directors in its continuing efforts to advance the profile of the parking industry while promoting technical knowledge within the industry and improve upon the quality services delivered to clients, customers, students, faculty and other constituents. Barber will assist in providing professional development, education, diversity and networking opportunities among NYSPA’s member organizations.

Barber was a founding Director of the New York State Parking Association in 1992 and is the first private parking operator to serve as President.

Barber served on the Board of Directors of the National Parking Association for 19 years, its Executive Committee for 4 years, and was elected by the membership as Treasurer for 2 terms. He served 8 years as the Chairman of the Parking Industry Institute and 2 years as liaison to the Parking Consultants Council. He has been a member of the Ohio State Parking Association since 1990.

Additionally, Susan Penczkowski of Allpro Parking was appointed Facilitator of the Association. Penczkowski will provide administrative support including membership registration, conference and retreat preparation, etc.
