YourCause, LLC announces the integration of Japanese as the newest language offered within the CSRconnect Employee Engagement Platform, which currently includes optional language settings for English, Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin and French. The release of Japanese is the first of four new languages currently in development and planned to be released by the end of August.
“As we continue to expand our language capabilities, we hope launching Japanese will bring greater participation in the region and contribute to our clients’ overall corporate social responsibility goals,” said Matthew Combs, CEO of YourCause, LLC.
Japan currently ranks third in the world with the highest number of internet users. Five percent of the entire world user population generates from Japan, which accounts for nearly 100 million users, according to a 2010 study by International Telecommunications Union. Thus, launching new languages within the CSRconnect Employee Engagement platform expands the window of opportunity for YourCause, their clients, and their respective employees by providing a centralized, multilingual, online community tool to participate and track their do-good efforts globally.

The ongoing growth of YourCause enables the company to continuously expand their language offering, with plans to maintain such efforts by including new languages into the platform on an as-needed basis. Currently, YourCause will be integrating additional languages such as German, Korean, Italian and Malay in the upcoming months to account for most of the world’s internet users.
