madvertise, one of Europe’s leading networks for mobile advertising, is making it easier for developers to earn money on the platform by releasing its two SDKs (Software Developer Kits) for iOS and Android as open-source projects in hopes to encourage developers to help write and develop code so that banner ads can be more easily integrated into apps.
The two SDKS released by madvertise on an open-source basis for Android and iOS can now be downloaded from github.com. They come with a suitable library which developers can include in their apps and which keeps space free for in-app advertising. Summing up this important move, madvertise CIO and co-founder Thomas Hille said,“Opening up our code is intended to provide additional monetising opportunities for both applications and mobile websites. We also hope it will help address developer’s individual requirements, and continue our mission of transparency in the market.”
