The theme for this ZBrush challenge is FREEDOM. What does Freedom mean to you? It’s much more than wrapping yourself up in the stars and stripes avenging crime. Freedom truly has many profound meanings. So many people from so many countries around the World experience personal freedom on so many different levels.
3DChallenge.org wants you to think outside the box. Everything from a crazed inmate escaping prison, to perhaps Frankenstein’s monster breaking free of his shackles. You can imitate life with soldiers raising a victory flag to the drama of a child frightened from their oppressors.
This Freedom Challenge opens the floodgates of creative thought and artistic expression by giving you, the artists, a voice to express your freedom to create a truly inspirational work of art that will be seen and showcased in front of a worldwide audience of your most talented peers…and fans.
Melody Brown, Executive Director of 3D Training Academy, one of the sponsors for 3Dchallenge.org, says “This challenge is one that we would like to see become an annual event that artists from around the world are eager to participate in.”
Sponsors for 3Dchallenge.org include Pixologic, 3D Artist magazine, Moddler, and 3D Training Academy.
Judges for the Freedom Challenge are an international who’s who in the world of ZBrush and art: Brom, Mark Behm, Rafael Grassetti, Fausto de Martini, Pascal Blanche, Michael Ingrassia, Maarten Verhoeven, Paul Gaboury, John Vegher.
3Dchallenge.org was created as an international forum and showcase for artists to compete on a variety of fun and exciting 3D challenges and to share their production techniques to help further the education of its members.
