Aqueous Books, an independent publishing company in Pensacola, Florida, is set to release its latest publication. "The Saints Are Dead" is a collection of short stories by horror writer Aaron Polson. The book tells the stories of misfits and the misaligned, outsiders and the awkward, all of whom must navigate strange landscapes and make sense of worlds which have slipped a notch or two past normal. The stories, published under the Danse Macabre imprint, blur the lines between fiction genres as they move from horror to science fiction to fantasy.
The author, Aaron Polson, currently lives in Lawrenceville, Kansas with his wife and two sons and is a member of the Horror Writers Association. His stories open a window into a world much like our own yet where the reader might find magic goldfish, monstrous beetles, and a book of lullabies for baby vampires along with other oddities. His previous works include "The House Eaters" and "We Are The Monsters".
"The Saints Are Dead" is currently available for pre-order from Aqueous Books but will soon be available from Ingram Book Group, Amazon.com, and on Kindle.
