San Diego, CA, United States, 2011/04/14 - With a local charity component added to the competition process this year, iTAN welcomes the YWCA of San Diego County as its event beneficiary.

iTAN Sun Spray Spa, the premier tanning salon and spa with 24 locations throughout San Diego and the Inland Empire, will host the 2011 Miss iTAN Event on April 30th at the W Hotel in Downtown San Diego.
Miss iTAN finalists were chosen by public votes on iTAN’s fan page during an online contest held throughout the entire month of March.
For every entry the Miss iTAN Contest received, iTAN plans to donate $5 to the YWCA of San Diego County. The mission of the YWCA is to increase safety, promote healing, foster empowerment, and give hope to women and families through innovative programs, services, and advocacy.
The Saturday evening event will be hosted at the W Hotel Downtown and will also feature an hour-long hosted bar, by Svedka Vodka; a Q&A portion and bathing suit runway walk with all finalists, and a performance by burlesque dance group, The Lollipop Girls.
Judging this year’s Miss iTAN Event is: Dave Lamb, iMAN 2010 winner; a Charger Girl alumnae; DiscoverSD.com President and Co-Founder, Nadav Wilf; and iTAN Franchisees, Matt Stracner and Irina Kharsa.
