Regan Career Institute is proud to announce its state approval by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education Bureau (BPPE) effective March 29, 2011. On October 11, 2009, Governor Schwarzenegger signed an assembly bill establishing the Bureau for Postsecondary Education within the Department of Consumer Affairs.
The Bureau has determined RCI has complied with the minimum standards contained in the California Education Code and the California Code of Regulations.
After a thorough review, BPPE has approved several Educational Programs offered by RCI. RCI will offer the following courses: Phlebotomy Technician, Electrocardiograph Technician, Intravenous Therapy & Blood Withdrawal for Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Continuing Education Provider courses for the Board of Registered Nursing.
In order to meet demands, Regan Career Institute will continue to offer an accelerated nationally and state approved weekend Phlebotomy and Electrocardiograph programs this Summer 2011. The institute’s aim is to provide students the foundational competencies and skill to enter the workforce immediately.
Classes will be offered during weekends, to allow for students to continue to work or complete other courses. The accelerated program will require the same number of hours as the traditional Phlebotomy programs, but will maximize learning for those wishing to complete a course quickly.
