The West Palm Beach Unit for the American Cancer Society and its volunteer gala committee are excited to announce this year’s fundraising gala as the highly anticipated return of The Orchid City Ball. At The American Cancer Society’s Orchid City Ball on Saturday, April 2, 2011, invited guests can look forward to a spectacular evening of sophisticated entertainment, dancing, fine dining, silent and live auctions as well as an exciting chance drawing. One of the items to be auctioned off during the evening are a private Dinner Party for 10 featuring the Inventive Culinary Creations of Celebrity Chef Johnny Ciao and the musical stylings of Grammy Award Winning artist Doug Bell.
Johnny Ciao (johnnyciao) is known as the entertainer for entertainers who has worked with everyone from legendary film stars to pop icons.He was also a personal chef to many of his celebrity clients and friends. Seven (9) time Grammy nominee Doug Bell (bellevuecadillac.com) has worked with countless clebrities and musicians from the music world. Together they provide an enjoyable evening of Inventive Euro-California Cuisine and Original Music Compositions. The evening’s live auction will be hosted by professional auctioneer Neil Saffer and in addition to the Dinner/Music Package featuring Johnny Ciao and Doug Bell, will feature exclusive trips, experiences and more. Starting at 7:00 pm., this year’s fundraiser will be held at Trump International Golf Club, 3505 Summit Blvd. in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Honorary Chairs Donald and Melania Trump are a welcomed addition to this year’s event. “We are thrilled to have the Trumps as our honorary chairs of the event supporting this important cause. Tickets to The Orchid City Ball are $250 per person or $3,500 for a table. Table sponsors will receive recognition as a Table Sponsor in the event program book, their company name on the table sign, and preferred seating for 10 at the gala, as well as admission for two to an exclusive VIP party.
