TATCHA, a recently launched Japan-inspired beauty brand, announced that it will be donating all profits from the sale of a new gift set to relief efforts in Japan. The goal of the campaign is to raise $10,000 for the littlest survivors.
“In times like these, our friends are our greatest resources, ” said Victoria Tsai, founder of TATCHA. “Amidst the tragedy in Japan, there is also astounding beauty in the spirit of the Japanese people working collectively to support survivors. In appreciation of a culture that inspires us so, we have created an aburatorigami gift set with the words ’Kokoroyori’, meaning ‘from the heart.’”
All profits from the sales of this gift set through March 31, 2011 will go to support the relief effort in Japan. TATCHA proudly supports Save the Children’s Japan Earthquake Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund – a humanitarian organization that has been active in Japan for over 25 years.
Each gift set contains 15 packs of gold flecked aburatorigami, elegant gold-flecked Japanese blotting papers first discovered over 300 years ago as the secret to petal fresh skin. Encased in a custom made Japanese wooden box traditionally used to protect treasured items, this set is an ideal way to give the gift of beauty from the heart.
The set is available online at tatcha.com for $165 with free shipping within the US.
