LA Femme is excited to announce this year’s festival competition categories have expanded to include not only the features, documentaries, shorts, music videos, commercials and screenplays but will be expanded to include the new categories of animation shorts, animation features, webisodes, mobisodes, and games! LA Femme has responded to the growth in all avenues of world wide media expanding into new categories for the internet, mobile, gaming and animation content. LA Femme will be working closely to assist the winners of the festival with more opportunities to show their work on a national basis under new entertainment partnerships.
The festival will run from October 13th -16th, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA screening over 100 films highlighting independent features, shorts, music videos, commercials, special screenings and seminars and much more. The four day event in Los Angeles hosts special networking events at LA hot spots and a gala Awards Ceremony attended by “A” List celebrities. LA Femme is dedicated to celebrating and empowering female artists creating media for a worldwide audience. LA Femme showcases works “by women for everyone” from all over the world. Ms LaPage sates, “No Festival does what we do for women, we actually work to get our women Filmmakers, Writers, and Producers seen, sold and produced by entertainment professionals. We have a very high success rate with distributed and produced films that were screened at our festival”.
