SYSPRO, the leading provider of visionary, pragmatic ERP software, today announced that SYSPRO's utilization of Microsoft business solutions and the numerous advantages it offers SMB manufacturers and distributors is the subject of a two-part paper by Predrag PJ Jakovljevic, principal analyst, Technology Evaluation.
The paper, "Mid-market ERP Vendors Leveraging (and Occasionally Outdoing) Microsoft's 'Plumbing,'" outlines various Microsoft architectural innovations and the ways in which SYSPRO is successfully utilizing them to benefit SMB users. The paper concludes "I doubt that mid-market ERP vendors have any of the full-fledged EA [Enterprise Architecture] capabilities that SYSPRO now has."

Most recently, learning that SYSPRO had embedded the Microsoft .NET-based Workflow functionality into the SYSPRO ERP solution, Microsoft extended an invitation to SYSPRO to be one of several Technology Adoption Program (TAP) partners.
SYSPRO Workflow Services provides users with an easier way to orchestrate or execute the complex processing of data in a visual form, much like flow charts, but without the need to understand computers or programming. The Workflow solution is deeply embedded in the SYSPRO product. Says Benadretti, "A .NET-based workflow solution is highly advantageous for SMB manufacturers and distributors, enabling greater flexibility, improved process controls and the easy development of .NET associated programs to augment their business processes.
