On Tuesday the 22th of February 2011 the conclusive documents were signed and the purchase agreement was finalized. Through the acquisition of Scan-it A/S, BlueStar is now one of the largest distributors of Auto ID products in the Danish market.
As a BlueStar company Scan-it A/S will gain access to new resources, which will make the company even more competitive. The resellers will be offered an extended range of products, superb logistics and service, and have the opportunity to receive assistance and support with business development and marketing through the BlueStar FUSION marketing program.
“The addition of Scan-it strengthens our Auto ID and mobility verticals in the Nordic region” said Bill Nix, vice president of global distribution for BlueStar. “Through this partnership, we will be able to provide resources to local resellers in these and all of BlueStar’s verticals.”
