MOBOTIX, a technology leader and system provider of digital high-resolution network-based video security systems, today announced an extensive installation agreement with Berkeley County, West Virginia, in which the company will be integrating a highly advanced surveillance infrastructure across multiple municipal buildings and complexes. Adding more than 25 Hemispheric Q24 cameras (featuring 360° allround views and panorama functionality) and MonoDome D24 cameras (featuring integrated multiple-window motion detection and flexible mounting for indoor and outdoor) to its existing analog network, Berkeley County security and technology administrators have enabled best-in-class, high-resolution security through a cost-effective, plug-and-play network upgrade. Global Surveillance Inc. was the reseller working with municipal officials on system design and vendor selection.

MOBOTIX is the only company to deliver highly-efficient hemispheric video surveillance through its patented decentralized concept – an in-camera technology construct that alleviates bandwidth constraints and allows full-spectrum high-resolution video across an IP network.
