The Shrimp Festival kicks off with the “Princess Ball” on March 5th, followed by the Kids’ Run on the next day. Proceeds from the event go to benefit organizations such as the Florida Lions Eyebank, Baskin Palmer Eye Institute, Southeast Guide Dogs, the local library, Little League and Florida Lions Camp.
