The relationship allows Riello UPS to supply the innovative and highly efficient Voltage Direct Connect (VDC) flywheel in Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA).
The VDC flywheel will complement the traditional lead acid battery sets used in Riello’s range of UPS systems for protecting mission critical applications.
The VDC flywheel is the latest generation in flywheel technology and provides a reliable, low-maintenance alternative (or addition) to battery sets.
During a power failure or disruption, the Vycon VDC flywheel provides a clean, short supply of DC power to a Riello UPS system (riello-ups.co.uk) until the source of power is restored – either through the mains, an emergency generator, or for extra resilience a battery set.
