SolidWorks® CAD Solution Partner, Albitech Ltd, today announced the addition of the Turkish-based ABKTeknik to its growing family of resellers to represent Inspection Geni (IG) within its market.
"IG is a SolidWorks add-on that enables Quality Controllers (QC) to automatically create Interactive Dimension trees, balloon drawings and Inspection Sheets," said Doron Sashkis, CEO of Albitech. "We see Inspection Geni as a natural add-on solution to ABKTeknik’s current portfolio of SolidWorks software offerings for post-design quality control and inspection.

Inspection Geni enables automated dimension design review using an interactive dimension tree to generate Inspection Templates for First Article Inspection FAI reports and In-Process Dimension Reports based on the same SolidWorks drawing.
"The highlight of the system is the ability to automatically reattach the old dimension ID to the revised version, showing the user a history of dimension changes in an interactive tree and the ability to export to an Excel spreadsheet," added Sashkis.
"This Excel document can also interface with a PDM system. Inspection Geni may also be used as a change-tracking system by companies that do not have expensive PDM system," he concluded.
