Crime and contemporary fiction publisher Caffeine Nights Publishing has just launched the first title in its new value range of eBooks. Turtle Island, the crime thriller by Darren E Laws is the first title made available at Amazon.

Each title in the range will be sold as the range states at under a pound and under a dollar depending on where the titles are available.
Turtle Island is the first in a trilogy of crime thrillers featuring F.B.I. agent Georgina O’Neal.

Caffeine Nights plan to release a number of titles in the range throughout the year.

Turtle Island will cost just 0.91pence or 0.99 cents to download to Kindle’s from Amazon from New Year’s Eve 2010.
Head of Marketing for Caffeine Nights Natalie Byrne commented "There is a great debate at the moment on over-pricing of eBooks. Our titles are generally great value at around £3.99 but we thought we would take a pro-active stance and launch this range at under a £."
The story doesn't end there though as Caffeine Nights is thinking of letting the public choose its next title in the range by voting on its website for the title from any of its catalogue, including new releases.
