Berlin, Germany, 2011/01/13 - Cloud company Zimory secures a 5-year strategic agreement with T-Systems to provide Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). This enables T-Systems International GmbH to offer IaaS on a large scale and at low costs to their enterprise customers.

T-Systems Customers can now use infrastructure services dynamically and automatically or it can be provisioned within minutes according to user requirements. This makes, for example, CPU-intensive research projects and simulation projects possible at short notice without having to own the required hardware. Based on utilization these dynamic infrastructure services are billed on an hourly basis. The service is free for T-Systems customers during the pilot phase (ending February 2011).
The IaaS combines the benefits of the public cloud with those from the high-security business customer sector: Access controls, data security and protection, defined Service Level Agreements, full scalability and attractive prices is what Zimory calls “Carrier Grade Cloud Computing”.
Customers can access pre-configured virtual machines from T-Systems data centers and modify these to suit their requirements. They can obtain information about the system uptime, resources used, processor and storage capacity, and costs from the customer portal.
