Desperate Seller.co.uk the UK’s premier car buying & selling website has today introduced an array of new search functionality to their car selling website, helping online car buyers find their dream car quicker.
Already recognised for their superior car searching functionality, which is used to power some of the UK’s top sites, such as Yahoo!® Cars, Excite.co.uk, BBC Top Gear and WiseBuyer’s Guides, Desperate Seller will again lead the pack with the introduction of the most innovative and technologically advanced searching functionality of its kind for a UK site.
Whilst most sites offer the standard; make, model, version, price and postcode to search for a car online, Desperate Seller’s new functionality offers a host of new searching and shopping functions that will enable buyers to find vehicles faster and help with their purchasing decisions.
Lifestyle Search
If you’re looking for a vehicle based on your lifestyle needs, Desperate Seller’s new lifestyle search ensures you will always get a result or suggested alternatives based on your requirements. By simply answering some questions about the type of car you’re looking for, i.e. New or used, petrol type, price, age, mileage, manual or automatic, desired must-haves such as air conditioning, electric windows, alarm etc. within seconds Desperate Seller will display a list of suitable cars currently available for sale on the site.
“How long have you searched for something online only to be presented with too many results or none at all?” asks Russell Berry, co-founder of Desperate Seller.co.uk. “Car buyers have such an array of choices when looking for a new car, and the lifestyle search will guarantee they’ll find a vehicle within their budget with the features they are after.”
Photo Search
Desperate Seller’s new search functionality also allows car buyers to search through the photographs of listed cars on the site. This function is particularly helpful if users are not sure of the model they wanted to buy, or if they want to see what the car looks like in different colours.
Dealer Search
Allows buyers to find dealers in their local area. Once the area has been selected, users can view latest deals from the area, look at stock lists, visually see cars on the forecourt and contact dealers directly.
Car Finder Service
Desperate Seller’s unique Car Finder service has also been integrated into the site to help take the stress out of looking for a new car. For a one-off fee of £4.99, buyers can submit details of the car they would like to buy and Desperate Seller will do the work for them, keeping them up to date with potential vehicles listed on the site and available through their extensive dealer network.
Finally, visitors to Desperateseller.co.uk can also search from the Find A Car page through the latest adverts that have been added to the site, and the Bargain Basement, where listings that have been recently reduced by sellers are displayed.
“We are really excited about the integration of these new search functions into the site,” continued Berry. “We’re dedicated to making Desperate Seller the first stop for online car buyers and sellers and this new search functionality just adds further to the site’s appeal.”
