Ipswich, Suffolk, United Kingdom, 2010/12/27 - Fred Olsen Cruise Lines is pleased to announce the appointment of Sue Sankey as the first-ever dedicated Project Manager for The ArtsClub, the cruise line’s programme of special interests on board. Sue will report to Fred. Olsen’s Marketing Director.

Sue will take on responsibility for the relaunch of this important programme, which encompasses a huge range of topics and pastimes, including music and dance, antiques-collecting and wine-tasting, history and genealogy, watercolour painting, photography, and much more. The ArtsClub programme will be relaunched in early 2011, in a stronger format, with more VIP lecturers, linked excursions accompanied by experts, and its own dedicated brochure and website.
The mainstay of Sue’s role will be liaison between staff onboard Fred. Olsen’s four cruise ships and the Marketing team in the Head Office in Ipswich, ensuring the maximum effectiveness of this popular programme.
Sue has been with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines for 23 years, and has masterminded key projects, such as Flagship Golf, the onboard spa, shop and photographer concessions.
Sue said of her new appointment: “I am excited to be working on the new, enhanced ArtsClub. Over the years, I have spent a great deal of time on board the various ships, as well as working alongside the Marketing team at Head Office, so I am well-placed to act as a conduit between them.”

Sue is a mother of three grown-up children and proud grandmother to one – Oscar. In her free time, she loves to be with her family, and also enjoys cooking, gardening and travelling.
