Saddle Brook, NJ, United States, 2010/12/21 - American Clean Energy cements deal with Artistic Tile to install a roof mounted solar energy array through a Power Purchase Agreement at their headquarters and distribution center in Secaucus, New Jersey.

American Clean Energy entered into a Power Purchase Agreement to own and operate a 523 kW solar array for Artistic Tile at their Secaucus, NJ headquarters and warehouse site. The solar electric system, comprised of nearly 2,300 panels will be located on the roof utilizing a ballasted racking system and provide the bulk of the electric energy consumed by the facility. Bysolar, Inc. of Denville, New Jersey will be performing the design and installation work on the project.
“Timing for this project is good”, said Steve Morgan, CEO of American Clean Energy. “Artistic Tile will begin benefiting from solar energy production early next year and as the economy rebounds we know we can expect energy prices in New Jersey to return to the double digit price increases we were experiencing the three years before the recession began. This agreement will provide them with substantial savings over the term and eliminate price volatility and unpredictability going forward”.
