Boston, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom, 2010/12/14 - Agricultural Machinery Sales, a new UK based website where anyone can advertise new or used agricultural farming machinery, was launched today.

This UK based website is the first of its kind to call itself exactly what it’ll be used for – selling agricultural machinery.
The website’s name and address was chosen to make it easy for farmers and dealers from any country to find and remember, which is important as this Lincolnshire based website’s markets are the UK, USA and the Euro Zone.
This descriptive name is in stark contrast to all other agricultural advertising websites who all seem to have obscure names that make it difficult for potential customers to find agricultural machinery for sale unless they have been pointed in the right direction. Failing this, users generally type into search engines what they are looking for (e.g agricultural machinery for sale). This, hopes the website’s owner Richard Larrington, will lead customers to the Agricultural Machinery Sales website where they will find a comprehensive range of agricultural products.
The website goes further than any other similar website by attempting to cater for the US, UK and Euro Zone markets while also making it easy to search and advertise in the user’s local country.
It does this by offering its users the option to browse and sell in one of 3 zones, one for the UK where they can trade in Pounds, one for the USA where they can trade in US Dollars and one for the Euro Zone. Potential buyers can then find and compare agricultural machinery in any of the 3 zones and currencies, or stick to their own zone.
The website’s owner Richard Larrington’s stated aim is “to make it easy to find tractors, trailers, harvesters, planters or any other farming equipment for sale, wherever you are in the world”. Potential buyers can then use the site and get the seller’s contact details free of charge.
Richard Larrington is also the owner of Larrington Trailers, a successful Boston based Agricultural Trailer manufacturer. He originally had the idea to create the Agricultural Machinery Sales website when friends and colleagues complained that there wasn’t one place where they could find or advertise agricultural machinery. It seemed any such websites were either biased (owned by dealers) or included advertisements from locations that the customer wasn’t interested in.
Richard was then able to acquire agriculturalmachinerysales.com as well as agriculturalmachinery.com and various other related domain names and asked a UK based website company to create the website.
Other services the website offers include free comparison charts, a multilingual glossary and agricultural calendars that users can contribute to.
Agricultural Machinery Sales Ltd (agriculturalmachinerysales.com) is exhibiting at the LAMMA 2011 show and will be handing out discount vouchers for the website.
