SkillStorm, a national IT and Engineering services and consulting firm, today announced that the company has won a San Diego Better Business Bureau (BBB) 2010 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. This award recognizes businesses and organizations that maintain a solid commitment to conducting their business practices in an ethical fashion. The program is designed to promote not only the importance of ethical business practices, but also the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses to uphold a marketplace that remains fair and honorable. This is the second time SkillStorm has won this highly esteemed award.
The Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics honors SkillStorm for demonstrating exceedingly high standards of behavior toward customers, employees, vendors, suppliers and shareholders; adhering to truthful and honorable marketing, advertising, communications and sales practices; and holding a reputation for noteworthy contributions to the industry and communities in which SkillStorm does business.

The process for applying for the Torch Award is extensive. SkillStorm was selected by a panel of independent judges who are leaders in the local business and academic community. SkillStorm will now compete at the international competition to be presented by the Council of Better Business Bureaus, the international umbrella organization for local BBBs.
