Long Floor, a full-service hardwood floor distributor, recently hosted their Customer Appreciation Nights at all three of its branch locations. The events were held at Norfolk, VA; Richmond, VA; and Beltsville, MD and attracted 215 attendees representing 98 companies.
David Williams, President of Long Floor’s sister company Horizon Forest Products, says that Customer Appreciates Nights are intended to show customers how much they are valued and appreciated. He says that Long Floor’s entire year culminates with these events that are organized to bring employees, vendors, and customers together to build on current relationships and have a great time.
“I want to thank all of our customers for attending the Customer Appreciation Nights in October,” says Williams. “I have heard from many of our customers saying how much they enjoyed the event. As a company, we don’t ever have enough time to thank each and every customer like we should during the year. Having these events at each of our branch locations give us that chance.”
Ten Oaks, 3M, and Bona sponsored this year’s events, which featured various door prizes donated by attending vendors. In addition, each branch gave away $1,000 to one lucky winner. Previous events awarded grand prizes such as SEA-DOO GTI 4-Tec Watercrafts, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and a 2008 Corvette.
“Our main goal of our Customer Appreciation Nights is to make sure everyone has a good time and that no one leaves either hungry or empty handed,” says Williams. “We had plenty of great food available and wonderful door prizes and giveaways. Our motto is ‘We appreciate our customers’ and this event truly reinforces our commitment.”
Long Floor Richmond Branch Leader, Mike Carroll, adds that Customer Appreciation Nights are a convenient and affordable way for everyone to connect.
“Our Customer Appreciation Nights are a great way for our customers and vendors to meet in one area, at one time and see what’s happening in our industry without having to take a trip to a big convention,” says Carroll. “We’ve heard nothing but positive feedback about Customer Appreciation Nights, and our employees and customers are already looking forward to next year’s event.”
