PPG Industries announced that SOLARBAN® R100 glass has been approved for lamination with select interlayer and film materials such as SAFLEX® and VANCEVA® by Solutia Inc., and BUTACITE® and SENTRYGLAS® by DuPont.
Solarban R100 glass is a neutral-reflective, solar-control, low-emissivity architectural glass. Because of its neutral-reflective appearance, Solarban R100 glass is well-suited to privacy glass applications and harmonizes well with spandrels and other building materials. The glass also features a light-to-solar-gain (LSG) ratio of 1.79 that is up to 29 percent better than competing products and can help building owners reduce the amount of energy they use for heating, cooling and artificial lighting.
Laminated PPG architectural glass products are available through members of the PPG CLP CERTIFIED LAMINATOR PROGRAM®, an exclusive national network of suppliers specially trained and audited by PPG to provide the highest levels of product quality and customer service.
To order samples of laminated PPG architectural glass products, or to find a PPG CLP Certified Laminator Program member in your area, visit ppgideascapes.com or call 1-888-PPG-IDEA (774-4332).
