As Gabbanelli Accordions embarks on their 50th anniversary in 2011, their legacy of offering the most innovative accordions continues with the release of their 2011 collection. The new collection will boast several designs that will be permanently added to Gabbanelli’s extensive selection as well as a few limited release 50th anniversary designs.
In 1961, the late Gianfranco “John” Gabbanelli was the first to introduce visionary prototypes of multicolored and decorative accordions to the market. John single-handedly shifted the standard boundaries of accordion style by launching color and customization to the forefront of the accordion industry. Gabbanelli transformed the accordion from a traditional instrument into a center stage superstar by consistently designing new striking designs and enhancing the tonal qualities of the instrument to create the world’s most recognized accordions.
