Ace Relocation Systems, Inc., the premier moving and relocation company throughout the U.S., joined community members, friends and family this October to raise money and walk in the “Step Out” Walk to Stop Diabetes.
The “Step Out” Walk brings the community together every year to join one another in the efforts to cure diabetes and is put on throughout the U.S.
“Diabetes hits very close to home for one of our own team members,” said Jeremy Day, General Manager of Ace Relocations’ San Diego office. “Our Sales and Marketing Coordinator, Lindsey Allen, lost her mother in 2009 to diabetes and now puts together a team named ‘Carol’s Crew’ to raise funds in her memory.”
With Ace Relocations help, Lindsey was able to raise almost $3,500, the second highest donation amount raised in the family and friends division.
The “Step Out” diabetes walk raises $180,000 each year and continues to help stop diabetes one step at a time.
“I want to thank Ace Relocation Systems for donating to Carol’s Crew for the 2010 Diabetes Walk,” said Allen. “It truly means a lot to know my employer, colleagues and friends are so supportive of one another and I could not have done this without them.”
