Calling him the "Knute Rockne of the channel," CRN magazine recently named Arnie Bellini, CEO of ConnectWise, the leading business operating system designed exclusively for IT service providers, VARs and MSPs, among the Top 25 Most Innovative Executives of 2010.
Part of its annual ranking of 100 Top Executives, CRN selected Bellini as one of the most innovative executives finding new ways to bring hot technologies and service opportunities to the channel in its November 23 article. Besides comparing him to Rockne, one of the most inspirational and charismatic college football coaches of all time, CRN also said that Bellini "has provided the platform technology, sweat, blood and inspiration to power SMB VARs to higher ground."
Bellini was also praised in the CRN article for setting up ConnectWise Capital, a $20 million investment fund to bring innovative channel-only products to market. Initial investments include CharTec (hardware as a service) and LabTech Software (a remote monitoring and management specialist).
