Out of 182 companies surveyed, the Chicago Tribune chose the Top 100 and divided the list into small, midsize, and large companies. Flexco came in at No. 12 on the midsize company list.
WorkplaceDynamics LLC, in conjunction with the Chicago Tribune, conducted surveys of Chicago-area businesses with at least 100 employees. Based on the survey results, WorkplaceDynamics compiled the list and delivered the top 100 results to the Tribune.
The employee surveys measured qualities including company leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation, and benefits. According to the survey, when it comes to its employees, Flexco excels at execution, career, conditions, and pay.
“Being recognized by the Chicago Tribune as a Top Workplace is a wonderful honor and one that we accept with great pride,” said Tammy Balogh, global human resources director for Flexco. “For over 100 years, we’ve had engaged, motivated employees who come to work each day with positive attitudes, ready to bring their best to their jobs.
“In an effort to continually attract new talent, while developing and retaining our existing employees, we stay focused on providing a compelling work environment and competitive benefits, compensation, and recognition programs. Our employees live our values – great people, integrity, collaboration, innovation, customer commitment, and achievement.”
Earlier this year, Flexco received its third-straight Chicago’s “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” listing from the National Association for Business Resources.
